Hi Everyone. I am new to this forum. After quitting equities I now started trading in Nifty F&O. Request some initial guidance.
Thank you very much in advance.
Thanks,
Ravi Shankar. |

Hi: Buy the best book on the (options) subject. Written by an active trader on NYSE. Easy to read format, no complex formulae or methodologies. Everything covered from roots to clouds. Unfortunately not available as ebook (only first chapter is freely posted on web)
Bill Johnson: Options Trading 101, Options University, $30 (available on Infibeam/ Flipkart)

|
|
Hi I am trying to use MACD and Stochastic on intraday 15 min candle Charts.
Can anyone suggest what should be the numbers that i should use for these two to work combinedly.
Currently i am using Stochastics - 3,8,3 and MACD - 9, 12, 26(got from NSE TAME default MACD numbers)
Can some one suggest whether iam heading in right direction or not.
I am trying to derive a formula based on these for intraday nifty levels and for that this is my first basic.
Thank you very much in advance.
Thanks,
Ravi Shankar |

Hasten: Welcome back. We have missed your posts and sayings.
Please continue to post regularly. Too many regulars have taken holiday!
(Ravi: sorry to use this thread, but I am not sure whether Hasten has a thread of his own)
Ronypan: There is only one share trading book written by Bill Johnson as far as I am aware, so the book you have must be the one I referred to.
