Calculations which are self explanatory are attached.

Break even comes to 0.7 points of nifty movements. How? If one uses near the money options they behave like futures and are almost 25-30% the price of future margins (one lot future margins are 20-30K) whereas one lot option can come within 6-8K.

So this calculation is STRICTLY for options and NOT Nifty futures or stocks, the last two of which I seldom trade nowadays.
