Please tell me exactly how you are using your favourite RSEX strategy and what indicators and what values to be looked for. Are they can also be used in JCharts EOD.

Dear Amit, Please read this blog from the start, you will get answers to all your questions. I have explained how to use RSEX with charts etc in detail... also explained how to use them for intraday or swings..

U r using rsex on 30 min tf and u got 326 point profit .
When do u book profit after getting a perticular signal on 30 min tf?
Is there any specific criteria regarding this?

i used to exit the trade when my emotions starts controlling my trade plans.......
but u can wait for until another crossover occurs.... |

i was using RSEX in stocks for intrady...i felt little bit uncomfortable cos we need to see all the 50 stocks in nifty...so i choosed to trade in NIFTY futures now im comfortable....no need to switch from one scrip to another,very cool ly we can sit and trade when crossovers occur........
out of all the indicators available,RSEX is effective and powerful......... |

Hi Rahul,
RSEX is nothing but RSI (Relative Strength Index) mapped against it's own EMA ... to understand RSEX please learn about RSI and EMA on web..
RSEX contains a unique mix of leading and lagging indicator and a crossover is often a signal of first leg of buying or selling against the current trend. We try and get into the trade as soon as the first leg of buying or selling happens before the new trend becomes visible to the rest of the world ... becuase our entries are in the first leg of buying/seling.. our SLs are often small since a reversal in trend after the crossover would immediately reverse the positions on RSEX crossover as well and we will get back into the main trend again...
Its a custom indicator available on icharts and kudos to Sreekanth for adding such a powerful indicator to icharts ....
Please read through this thread carefully since start and you would understand it better... do post any queries here if you still have any...
