Hi,

You all are getting WW incorrect.

Look for the following

BULLISH WW

1. Trend should be down.
2. The pattern must be also down.
3. Look for symmetry in waves.
4. Channels should be only slightly converging.
5. Point 5 should extend beyond the TL.
6. Target Pt 6 - by joining Pt 1 & Pt 4 must be
in the opposite direction to the trend i.e. UP.

Reverse for the Bearish WW.

Milanchn,

One of the qualities of the WW is that it provides us with the near perfect TGT price. And if you do some advance studies you may arrive at the approximate time by when that price could be achieved. I am not following it though, trying to keep it simple.

Now here it is how we go about it - i.e. approximating the target price.
If you have found the WW and marked point 1,2,3,4 & 5 correctly join point 1 and 4 and extend it as far as possible. This whole line beyond point 4 represent possible tgt price.

In true WW price moves in symmetry and observing the symmetry we can draw a line starting from point 5 toward the extended line 1-4 which is parallel to lines joining point 1-2 and 3-4, the point of confluence is our point 6 i.e. the TGT price.

Depending upon the speed at which price moves, targets could vary, say if it moves slowly tgt could be higher and if it moves fast tgt might be lower.

But I must caution you this is not the right way to go about it but merely a good approximation.

You can refer to various charts posted below.

Hope I have made myself clear.

Hi,

I am posting below two charts SBIN-1m 20min TF and Tatamotors-1m 15min TF.

I could find the setups at the right time simply because I follow these scrips on intraday basis and there was no use posting them here realtime as nothing could have been gained.

I am posting them now for academic purposes only.

rrsekhar,

You are right, wolfe wave are effective in all times frames. The only issue is they are difficult to find and on the smaller time frames by the time you spot them they might have achieved their tgts as well.

It is better to focus on EOD charts and at the most hrly.

Hi,

Have been busy of late, will start posting in next few days.

Please check out prajind EOD charts it has regained the lower TL and moving upwards with first TGT at upper TL and if able to break it then TGT as per WW.

Those who were following it must have taken postions by now.

Although this is not a perfect WW, as was indicted in my previous post also.

Hi,

Do have a look on the chart - Renuka EOD. Does this one looks like a WW or I am being wishful.
