Hi Ravi,
Market is strong no doubt, but it can change its gear anytime we all know with our experience.. Now that is where I always insist on price itself to show signs of reversal...
For this, if I am convinced about the setup, I generally check for ema/price level where after making point 5, price is stopping.. In this case it appears to be 285.5, which is also 8 ema incidentally.. So , I would have probably shorted half qty at 10:00am candle close as it was close within channel.. So even if SL was hit, my loss would be less. Rest half qty I would have shorted at close below support area, so my odds of success increases..

Price is taking good support at 2000 level.. My suggestion is to get at least one CC below this on 15tf..

I posted this Bullish WW on monday morning , but immediately withdrew it as i recalled Mr. Muthuswamy's post to JJM sir stating

From above, i feel that point 4 <1 is allowed but it's NOT A BEST wave to trade.
Same was observed in attached 15TF WW and it crossed target easily.
Now, experts pls DON'T MISUNDERSTAND me. I am also NOT DESPARATE to try such inferior set ups. My interest is ONLY ACADEMIC one.
I have seen some posts of JJM where 4<1 for Buy set up. But then saw above mentioned
Mr. Muthuswamy's post dated 19jul. So can expert's pls clarify about validity of pt 4<1 for Buy set up?

Update: Rcom hit Stop loss on september 30th( in the back drop of possible prosecution of Anil Ambani by CBI with regard 2 G scam). Now continuation ww in the making, will post once it's realised.
RCOM Weekly Chart +WW formation.
Expected Time Arrival is August 2nd week 2012
Expected Price Arrival is 143.50 .SL for this entry can be recent low 71
You can also find an earlier +WW in which EPA reached very fast, well before ETA.
Can we expect the same speed in target achievement this time too?!

i am aware that pattern posted by me have some drawbacks.( pt 5 has not given false break out).
I am aware that probabilty of failure is high in such pattern.
As said earlier, my query is academic one as i came across that article yday. And coincidentally, i also sighted example of it.

hi arjun. u've rightly raised query 'bout succeeding ww even if pt 4 </> pt 1. but it's seer co incidence if such happens. when trade ww, more probable success ratio on trading the patterns fufilling the requirement then trade on exceptional pattern. same with break & re enter TL. plenty of ww patterns to reach tg even if not meet such requirment. but again, more probability to profitability on meeting all/most of the requirments of pattern then exceptional ones. if it meets tg, it may be considered as just co incidence & not as per pattern. just my view. regards.
