RVG's 8 EMA HILO strategy |

| RVG…..some little query….in educomp fut. 15/2/12 Educomp hourly pivot broken @ 238.2 and subsequently reached up to 233 in next 6 candle……new pivot create @ 251.60…..stock bounce from 233 to 246.3, though pivot not broken but during that journey 8 ema high touch though and stock reverse from 246 to 236. My query is for new pivot which low we should consider 237.60 or 233…..

Dear Member,
For EOD charts, use Charts(Premium) to plot the EMA on High / Low

Every New Lower Low will be the low for pivot considerations.. in this case 233.
Today it has made a lower low of 228 and now new pivot is most recent high above 8ema i.e. 243.80 11:00 am candle on 17/2

Do a visual inspection and see which stocks fit into this strategy.
I have traded quite a few High beta stocks well.. Most trending stocks would fit into this strategy

Hi RVG,
Thanks for updating... but today 28-Feb most of the EOD candles are closing above 8ema,high... so what does this mean... should we go long if tomorrow trades above todays high...

As per the rules I mentioned earlier
2. when price crosses and closes above high ema from below ; momentum is bullish
As the momentum is bullish ; better to trade in direction of momentum ; so buy if the price is above today;s high.
