Hello ST,

Screener (EOD) features request/feedback:

1. Except the first column(Symbol) all other columns can be right aligned.
2. Avgvol can be rounded, and decimals can be avoided.
3. currently moving average columns and other columns cannot be queried.
you may provided facility to query like
sma5 | greater than | {sma20}

{sma20} can be parsed and query can substitute the value of sma20.
this feature will help to query across all the stocks.

Thanks for your suggestions. We are working on changing the eod screener in a big way. We will surely consider your suggestions. The suggestions like ability of comparing columns (sma, ema etc) to other columns is critical and will be implemented. Other suggestions like alignment & rounding also are much preferred and we will surely do that.

Dear Sir,
Can you add Bollinger Band Width ( in % ) to advanced search screener. It will be helpful to screen the stocks which has low volatility & may breakout in a few days.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO ADD SOME MORE COLUMNS IN THE SCREENER (EOD)

LIKE EMA 5,13,20,34,50 FOR THE WEEKLY CHARTS.. CURRENTLY ALL THESE COLUMNS ARE AVAILABLE FOR DAILY CHARTS ONLY.. SO I REQUEST U TO PLZ CONSIDER ADDING SOME MORE COLUMNS AS PER THE DETAILS PROVIDED ABOVE.. IT WOULD BE A VERY USEFUL FEATURE TO STUDY THE LONG TERM TREND OF ANY SCRIP LIKE RELIANCE OR INDEX LIKE NIFTY..

PLEASE ADD A COLUMN IN THE SCREENER (EOD), A COLUMN SHOWING ""THE BETA VALUE"" OF EACH SCRIP.. THOSE SCRIPS WHOSE ONE YEAR DATA IS AVAILABLE, BETA VALUE WILL BE CALCULATED FOR THEM ONLY TO MAINTAIN THE STANDARDS AND ACCURACY..

ALSO BEFORE CALCULATING THE BETA VALUE ALL THE ADJUSTMENTS TO THE PRICE LIKE SPLIT, BONUS, BUYBACK DIVIDEND ETC ETC SHOULD BE MADE..

A ""BETA VALUE"" DESCRIBES THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE SCRIP AND THE BENCHMARK INDEX LIKE NIFTY/SENSEX..

INVESTORS SHOULD INVEST IN SCRIPS WITH BETA VALUE RANGING FROM 0.75 TO 1.35

WHILE THE DAY TRADERS SHOULD BUY/SELL SCRIPS WITH HIGHER BETA VALUE ABOVE 1.0 (ONE) IN ORDER TO HAVE MORE VOLATILITY/MOVEMENT IN BOTH UP AND DOWN SIDE..

Hi,

Is it possible to add Stock screener in a different way. I have come across some screeners/scanners which scan for stocks on EOD basis to take trading decisions. For ex Bullish EMA 7/21 crossover, Bearish EMA 7/21 crossover, Bullish MACD crossover, Bearish MACD crossover,New 52 Week High,New 52 Week Low,Moved Below Lower Bollinger Band,Moved Above Upper Bollinger Band etc.
Once the criteria is given the screener shows stocks which fulfill the given criteria within seconds. No need to go on searching manually.This is very useful for trading decision next day.

I especially need Bullish/Bearish EMA criteria. Request iChart to add this feature.

pl don't forget to add historical volatility, implied volatility and other parameters called greeks- like alpha. beta, gamma, theta etc. required for option trading.

There is a Stock Screener on site [CONTENT REMOVED BY ADMIN]. Is it possible to design on the same lines??

Please check this site. I feel it is very useful to take decision for next day tradingfor and also for Swing Trading.
