In my analysis LT is a short around 1440/1455 price range which is resistance area.. I would not have taken the 1300 put on LT. Because I do not take directional trades, I always let the stock first retrace up or down into the resistance or support areas. I feel to be successful you have to have an edge in the market By edge I mean a trade location which has a better odds of wining.
The initial analysis was correct because LT is in a major downtrend, Lower highs and lower lows, and buying a put is valid, I just feel to have an edge is to buy the put at a resistance area.
No discredit to anyone. If anyone wants to know more let me know. Because I do not want to intrude on someone discussion forum.
This is one mans opinion. There are a lot more out there

SUPERB EXIT,
EVEN I EXITED @ SAME RATE, THOUGH THERE ARE STILL POSSIBILITIES FOR LT TO FALL BUT DUE TO ONLY THREE TRADING SESSION IN NEXT WEEK, TIME DECAY WILL START IN LT 1300 PE.
SO AFTER THAT WEEK I WILL RE-ENTER & LET ALL MY FRNDZZ N READERS TO RE-ENTER THE SAME.

once a gain a great call.............but I did not exit from lt 1300 PE.....its totally my fault........I bought around Rs14.........but u mentioned that u will re enter on next week............so it is a hopefull for me...................can I get atleat Rs 20..........if so then how much LT can fall...........is LT will come below 1340??.......ur views pls in this regards

i will re-enter in LT 1300 PE on monday after viewing all scenarios.As i mentioned in my reoprt on Lt that on daily chart LT is giving a trggt of 1100 so need not to worry.
As today trading session gave a sharp fall in nifty due to results of SBI.
we can see a bearish engulfing on the TOP in SBI. so bearishness may start in SBI which may lead our market to fall. but still nifty is holding 5200.

May I ask you : -
1. Are you recommending put option of SBI?
2. Do you see Nifty breach 5200? If yes, consequence of it as per you.
3. Your entry range for LT 1300 pe.

Dear Acharyams,
Conclusion for the thread is:
"yes i m bearish on SBI but bearishness in NIFTY does'nt seems to persist as it still holding 5200.
In my earlier report i stated dat nifty may test 5520-5540 resistance zone(for more details u can check earlier thread).
More confirmation is required in both to confirm the trend.
i cant suggest to purchase SBI PE now but yes after confirmation i will post my view on what to buy @ wht price.
