Dear swing trader,
What should be the ideal settings for bollinger bands on a 60 minutes chart. The default settings are 9.
Please Reply,
Regards,

Try 17-18 (basis - half the number of bars in a week of 5 trading days).

Alternately, you can look at 15 also if you want to ignore the last bar which is for 30 min only. The difference is unlikely to be impacting your calls.

Dear Mr.S.Srivastav,

I am using BB of 20DAYS with 20minutes times frame which is giving very good results. You can try for that. The no of days is from 7 -30 days according to your convenient based on long term or intraday trading.

Kind Regards,
S.Deepa
