while it is much worthwhile for experts to comment, I have just one observation.........
in this thread, I once commented that signal candle "low or high" should be taken for a break........it may be a signal candle 'close'??.....Alchemist/ Sumesh shall clarify .........
in your case, in last 30 mins on NS crossover was done (though not in futures)
but even if todays 1 tf candle "close", the high of signal crossover candle was not broken........hence this may be one suggestion.....which works well in trading in general....... |

hi guys - a breach of high or lows is enough to trigger trades, waiting for 30 minutes candle close can most of the time means no control on the SL (markets can run up 100 points within 30 minutes sometimes).
However in today's case, I did not close shorts as NF opened high however immediately fell which meant I continued to hold shorts (5/200 is still bearish so I could take the liberty of holding shorts).
However if nifty trades above todays highs again tomorrow, I will exit shorts.

| But sir it is violating the norms of strategy. Because today 5 and 34 ema bullish cross over happened. So we should exit short. And at last candel again 5and 34 EMA bearish cross happened with low of 8673. If tomorrow 8673 breached . we should take Short again. I am right or not. Plz answer. |

Answering only with positive intentions
Alchemist and Sumesh already commented once that trading become art once in trade, so to say to an extent. His point on high / low should be read and understood . It's for me not against method as I pointed before. Today's short is determined by today's 5 34 30tf placement while remaining below 200 not on anything else |

| Yes, Short triggered when NS was around 8659. Interestingly Futures is quoting less than Spot now. |

New shorts triggered around 8650 NS (8655 NF) .....NF created lows of 8576 so gave good opportunity to book 70 points profit on 50% as per rules. Rest 50% holding.
As the rules are becoming more clear now ... Lets add BNF also to the mix.
Rules for BNF is book 50% around 140-150 points profit ...rest all rules remain same.
BNF trade : 5/200 bear yorker happened at 19025 (spot) or 19080 (fut). Got 150 points immediately for 50%, rest 50% holding as BNF fut closed at 18700 (around 380 points profit).

NF closing at 8340 ... booked 310 points on rest 50%. New positions to be opened in new series now later.
anyone holding BNF, BNF closed at 17820, 1200 points profit.
