No trade getting initiated as 5 EMA < 34 EMA but both greater than 200 EMA.
Wating for either
1. 5 EMA 34 EMA bullish crossover or
2. 5 EMA 200 EMA bearish crossover
No trade till then.

I believe today was the case of Long @8854 and then close (SL) @8800 , as first 5/34 bullish crossover(1330) happened for entry and then after three candles bearish crossover(1500) happened and SL got hit.
But so far 5/200 is still in bullish mode and any upside 5/34 can be used for going Long. Am I correct ?

| Yes sumesh_sol, +2 lots at 8855 and squaring off same at eod at 8738. -117*2= -234 for this trade. +527 for 1st trade. Net +293 points.

Trade 2 changes made as per Alchemist suggesstions
Bullish crossover 5 EMA and 34 EMA and both greater than 200 EMA (13:30 candle) nifty spot.
Buy 2 lots NF at 8853 SL 8755 SL hit loss (8853-8793)*2 = 196 pts
Net 527 - 196= 331 pts.
Waiting for next trade.

Generally crossover candle Low or High are good SL when trading crossovers.
Will Check with Alchemist.
Alchemist any thoughts??

SL was 8753 on NF (recent lows) before 5/34 crossover happened.
NIsfty sot has given sell now. Better to buy 8700 put as weekend is elections in Delhi and Exit polls may mean huge gap up or gap down on Monday.

Alchemist 1 month complete on this strategy.
Two trade completed third just started on 6th Feb 2015.
Would you like to add a refinement to make it mechanical trading system? We have started this thread to make mechanical trading system.

Gap down opening today at 8630 .... 85-90 points profit so booked 50% as per the rules.
Rest 50% should be held currently.
pvktrade - is it not mecahnical enough already?

87 pts booked on 1st lot (8717 - 8630)
2nd lot continues to earn profit (8717 - 8557) 160 pts
Alchemist, this looks good system and mechanical too. Just one loss. lets monitor.
