As expected...the positive divergence on rsi kicked in a rally to touch 34 ema allowing me to exit the shorted puts.

Nifty reversed from 34 ema, just a few points away from triggering the tsl...and closed at almost day's lows.

NF Yorker shorts again in 200 points profit and not oversold anymore based on Rsi so shorts held without any hedge.

If nifty falls more and becomes oversold again..I will again sell some atm or otm puts.

Cheers
SH

Thank you for your guidance and support.
In which timeframe we should look for oversold Rsi?

Since puts were also taken at 8315 level, there would have been a price differential at square off (around 8115 or 8192). U have reinterred futures shorts or previous shorts were not squared off at all.?? For instance Sumesh had remarked square off only above that time 8210 level which was not touched .???

The objective of question is knowing futures should be booked at profit of 160 points say 2 percent or just hedge taken after this profit level. Let me go thru the chart once again .....

For this strategy ...I am following 30 minutes TF hence RSI and 34 EMA of 30 minutes nifty spot charts.

Nifty continues to fall and yorker shorts are in around 275 points profit.

RSI has hit 30 levels again so sold 8000 PEs at 115 to hedge again. PEs to be booked at 34 EMA kiss.

Partial profits would rationally have been taken earlier and puts were sold at more than 100 nifty points differential loss I guess

Great strategy but wonder which follower achieved the maths. Learning process for us.

Thanks for sharing wonderful strategy. As mentioned earlier by me, for me optons game is still the joker since the hedge can kill the futures profits on a sharp reversal over longer time frame since markets mostly sideways over longer term. I may be unclear in explanation.

Dear Amitagg - the day you start trading in actual world using this strategy, that day you will understand the maths. Till then, keep learning.

Good suggestion . Lack trading skills to derive full potential of the strategy. Wanted some more explanation and would go for it...... still unclear of the option angle since it has not been summarised in the thread as for entry and exit rules for futures yet shall see what comes about....

Day started with 34 EMA touch within first 30 minutes... booked shorted puts at 75 and made 40 points profit, this offset most the loss I had made on shorted 8250 PEs initially.

Later in the day we had 5/34 bullish cross and highs taken out around 8112 NS so booked all NF shorts too with 200 odd points profit.

Now wait for 5/34 bearish cross to open fresh shorts or 5/200 bullish yorker for longs.

Cheers

8029 broke and Nifty shorted again. When nifty hit 7960, RSI hit oversold zone hence sold 7950PE at 98 to hedge as usual.

I did not take. Because I was waiting to go below previous low of 7930.
