The shorts were triggered around 8165 and now NF is at 8038.... 50% should have been booked by now and rest should be held hedged by selling 8050PE or 8000 PE.

To make this 'wonderful' strategy a bit more 'wonderful', I am introducing a new rule today.
Rules to manage gap ups/downs if Yorker is Bullish
IF we have a gap up in favour of our longs : Wait for first 30 minute candle to form (first 15 mins on Icharts) . Close longs if lows of first candle on 30 mins TF is breached on nifty spot and book 100% profits. Buy again only above days highs.
If we have a gap down against our longs : Wait for first 30 minute candle to form (first 15 mins on Icharts). Exit longs and book any profit or loss if Nifty breaches first candle's lows. Buy back only above days highs (assuming 5/34 exit signal has not come yet). If 5/34 bearish cross has also happened... no trade until 5/34 bullish cross has happened.

Same for stocks yes...
Today was a good example ...we had a gap down (in favour of shorts) and opening candle lows got broken which means TSL for any shorts held would have become opening day high (which was never breached as markets closed at days lows).
It was also a place to open fresh shorts with opening range highs as SL (in case someone booked 100% like me yesterday on gap down open and high breached).
Either ways, Yorker trader would have made money.

May be Alchemist Sir can answer better.....but my suggestions exit tomorrow.....RBI policy ahead so I feel banks will go up for sometime. This is a mechanical system bro so exit means exit....also try to trade using TSL and first and foremost use CTC if it moves in your favor.

Sir you r right I see the chart in 20 days. So today I got bearish crossover of 5 and 200ema cross over and low of that was 8309 . so I took as per level. And exit just before 1530 cancel as I assumed it will be bullish crossover. But today before my message . some body was claimed that bearish crossover of 5 and 200 EMA was happened at 8425. So how it happened. Because if u take chart of 20 days and above 200 EMA is equal for all. Whether it is 100 days chart or 250 days chart. That confirmation I want from seniors. So that there should not be any doubt in the level. Thanks |
