mentioning this before anyone gets me wrong is that this thread does not need beautification.......
almost 100 points mean nothing.....it may mean 50 points if one books at 50 it goes to 100 and then goes back to 0.
it may mean 0 points if one waits for 100 points since it has reversed before 100....etc etc.
for any trade, just as we post "entry" at precise level, we have to post "exit" also (like where u exited, in terms of alechmist system preferably) |

"almost 100 points" - so ritesh one exits at 70 points or 100 points or what (rsi levels etc.)....lets only post exit levels as per Alchemist system (as he used to post).....for instance to guide when should profit booking happen in live market.
one lot - say X points
second say - at cost.? |

Hi Ritesh - Yes no longs yet..... I am still holding NF shorts with 7200 PE sold as I posted earlier.
The only change I have made in the system recently is :
1. If after the Yorker trades move in our favour (lets say shorts) and once I have booked 50% at 100 points, I will not exit if the 5/34 bullish cross happens. I will simply hedge by selling puts (if not already hedged before).
2. I will hold both positions until price touches 200 EMA again. At this point I would exit the shorted puts and hold naked NF positions only.
3. If I get opposite Yorker, I would close current short position and open a fresh long trade in opposite direction in line with Yorker signal. However if 200EMA provides resistance and nifty moves back down in my favour.. I will continue to hold and probably look to hedge again once we have fallen another 200 points or so.

So now the gap up rule is rescinded??? Also pls confirm if the values and time given by for bullish and bearish CO were correct or not for better understanding....

Gap up and gap down rule is not rescinded . It works very well. Everthing in this thread works very well.
If in Alchemist example rule there is gap up which result in 5/34 bull cross in already bear 5/200 trade position, then still gap up rule should work and puts sold only when the 15tf first candle high making the 5/34 cross is taken out
Hope I am not wrong . This covers one situation. Others can explain better. |
