Hi - you are right, small crossover not visible to naked eye unless you zoom. I dont know how and why I missed it. It was sell at 8607 and square off at 8632

Cheers

I have a couple of observation , I may be wrong..
A crossover looks more convincing when it is a clear crossover, like u said correctly, it was not clearly visible by naked eye. So, in my opinion in such cases we should wait for a clear crossover , it may mean loosing few points, but I feel it is worth..
Secondly, after a crossover candle close, trade should be taken only if high/low of the candle is breached as we are trying to catch the momentum created by crossover... Many times , price reverses when such crossover happens. High/Low break will avoid such situations..

Regards,

Sumesh Sol - you are right, and I like your suggestion of entering/exiting when highs/lows of the crossover candle is taken out.

pvktrade - this is the new filter we are adding to avoid some whipsaws.

cheers

Alchemist,

The crossover has taken place. Have you closed the position?

Thanks

Nope.. as per the new filter ... the new TSL is low of the candle on which the crossover has taken place. So today crossover candle was 12 PM candle on nifty spot and the low of the candle is 8832 so TSL is 8830.

Longs to continue...

Cheers

Shaheer - for benefit of any other reader who might get confused by your post, I understand your setting problem with charts is resolved now ...there was no bearish cross on spot charts.

Cheers

Well said SH,
Infact nifty spot was around the 200ema value (8750) for most part of the day and has bounced from there. If the closing is above 8750, would go long.
