rishu, when market in side ways use the 2 minute tf. looks like you have compared the same with 3 mnt.
ANS: DMA button is next to PARSAR button just click that button and change the parameter as 3 in both the places follow the attached chart in the thread.
good day to every one..

opp: stick to the same settings do not watch candles . this works better with lower tf .
who ever spots the buy and sell signal pls post the same so everybody can view it and benefit from the same.
cheers,

Parray I am not at all convinced by your figures and method. Going by your suggestion we can put off the candles by making them white and watch the EMA crossovers and feel good that we have got a nice entry point but that's all we can do - feel good. The entry point by that time has gone way past.
To trade one needs to trade the candles not EMA crossovers.
The method works when the EMA crossover is moving closely with the candles but often it does not and that is because of strong moves up or down. Strong moves are what we call breakouts which makes the most money in any trading setup. Similar problem occurs during Gap ups or Gap downs.
In most of these cases the EMA crossover happens "AFTER" the breakout and hence is worthless from the point of view of trading. If I make the candles invisible I would surely miss the breakout following this EMA crossover rule.
I have a suspicion that you are not getting the kind of results you are claiming and merely giving theoretical figures which are not practically trade able.

opps: your right fast break outs we will not ale to catch up that goes to any other systems. when profit is +1000 points pm signal to signal why one should worry and sit tight to wait for break outs maintain stop loss and go with system we are lower time frame thats why no need watch and take decision based on candles that helps you with good health otherwise you will be too stress out in studying every candle. that's why i have requested to post the entries signal to signal so we can be sure system is working. my only intention is to people benefit from it.
wish you good luck.
by the way as per sytem it is buy now. let us look at the end of the day,
cheers...

1000 points pm is practically not possible, DMA value changes according to CMP.. it is very difficult to trace crossovers |

DMA value changes according CMP..
if you check back data you will find that DMA and SMA crossover works and you say WOW... you will start day dreaming that you are making billions in this uncertain market.. BUT remember day dreaming is a bad habit always! |

DMA is a dicey indicator....since it is shifted to left ...it will show flat for recent ticks...proper trend appears only after few ticks. So DMA works beautifully in back testing...doesnt work that well in real time. Use 3 EMA instead ... with SMA 45 ... gives almost same effect but no problem about left shift |

+60 points for the day.
Hope every one made good money today.
opp/zir: u r observations are good, problem is u r not taking in to consideration of dma settings. period 3 that means wait for that time frame to complete. i made the same mistake in hurry without checking the time and posted second buy call and line shifted. it is like candle sprouting with +10 points and end of 3 mnts negative with -10 naturally dma line follows the same route to down side.
bye for now..

I found that this strategy can be used in daily chart also, it gives precise idea about impulsive trend.. |

Dear shankar,
The strategy does not seem to work in real time

I agree with satishb. Initially, I was in favour of this, but when I tried it practically, changed my view. |

I agree with SID. This strategy is just like any other strategy or system. It has its own strengths and drawbacks.
One improvement can be done. Don't whiten the candles. Wait for the candle to complete. When DMA- SMA crossover happens buy the high of the candle or sell the low of the candle as the case may be. Stop loss will be low of the candle if it is a buy and high of the candle if it is a sell. Trade only in the direction of the SMA. |

for those who saying this strategy is ordinary or bullshit or holy grail........ i just want to say one thing for my friends with this set-up as mr. Parray said, since last 3 days i have made 110++ point in nifty in 2 min time frame. just remove candle and take position after completion of time. and don't bother of stoploss it remain small 15 point maximum. Thanx mr. Parray good work. |
