Hi all the iChartians, I am only a registered member of this site and I must say I have learned a lot from many posts, but since I am new I don't know the origins of certain topics like this one, Spikes and Channel, could amitagg be kind enough to repeat the same please.. Thanks and very happy diwali to one and all, salutes to Rita Pandit for her accurate levels and thanks. I hope to learn more from you guys.

watch idea & r com today for spike and channel....i have bought at 134 and 166 for day trade already based on other factors

not 'much' profit expected vis a vis market risk ....can sell for trading profits....holding short biocon and added short at 383

though stock is bullish but it behaves differently each day....no exact pattern for me since spike till 9.20 ...i want all spikes for till 10.00 am or so....but sideways consol afte spike is bullish anyways...stock can give whipsaws

was away...u can see...i posted yesterday that idea or rcom shall form spike and channel...idea did today....it also broken above sideways consolidation......for me now all longs should exit..

zee also behaved as told...whipsawed...i dont trade, zee, IDFC, United Spirits usually....

was away from market ..since now holding positional Nifty short....

ifci - lookinggood on charts above 24.5....
i dont call it pattern though since spike only for 15 min till 9.30....nevertheless a sure buy

by the way, RK comes good on most predictions / analysis

also i was unable to track pattern regularly but it do forms...like yesterday PFC was one.....though it broke today as expected etc
