Ali cairn i just now responded to ur querry i would suggest u if ur trading short then trade with very low volumes if its for intraday and that too in cash as mkts are volatile these calls are just a confermation of the continuation pattern.. always have patience and look at the bigger picture and remember u ll get plent of opportunity provided u ve money to trade
Actually i m not a full time trader so at times if there is a delay in my response please excuse me i ll try my best for a quick response

Few days back some had asked about bank nifty i had mentioned the level of 11150 which of course was not tested.. The biggest hit is also taken by banking sector so the million dollar question is where ll the carrnage end going forward the levels to watch for closely is 10300 below which the next tgt would be 9950 which is the break out point periously i guess long term investors could start buying in a staggered way cause in banking theres a lot money to made..
Funny thought: Inflation worries have spooked the mkt big time and the worst part is majority of the population including the trader community doesnt know how the inflation is calculated  ...

Thats so true...! About 3 months back the govt. had revised the method to calculate inflation. Once this was applied inflation dipped immediately.
Just imagine what the inflation number would have been if it was calculated using the old method and what it would've done to the markets
Sometimes I seriously feel that govt+corporates+media+market_controllers make one big corporation to mislead people...newez thats a topic for later discussion |

Tata Power - The stock also looks like is the process of forming a H&S formation.. So the level to watch for is 1280(the trendline support is around 1290-1285) below which the stock can fall to 1260-1230-1210 also i guess these are still long way may be a bad results can only brake the levels i ve told else nothing to worry in stock now.. (hope this ans ur querry NIRMAL )
Orchid Chem - High beta stock and not for the faint hearted look out for 310 above which 314-317-327 is possible..

If the stock trades consistently above 346 then 348 is a minor hurdle above which it can blast to the previously mentioned tgts ali prob 343 u can keep as a stop loss

Well yesterday it dint cross 346 the high itself was 346 and today it opned and traded only few mins above 346 ali and most of the time i actually avoid the prices of first half hour as there are lot of freak trades and more over all the levels mentioned are in cash so u need to adjust ur levels in FnO so i guess yesterday u entered little early in the stock...

Which ever position is in profit (i know its not cairn) hold with trailing stops..
