Is the worst over for banking index.....?
here are few stocks which might give the ans to this

SBIN - range 2690-2770.. decisisve break above 2770 can take the it to 2850 above which 2900-3000

HDFC - 710 is the level which can turn around and take stock to 730-740 above which sky is the limit

Icici - 1140 is the channel resistance above which 1175-1200 also

Pnb - previous update 1250 above can ve a good breakout (check my previous posts[/b]

Power grid – above 98.50 tgt 101-104-107 below 95.5 tgt 93-91

Siemens – abv 790 tgt 810-830-850

Ranbaxy - abv 565 can do 580-600

Punjloyd – small range 105-108 break on either side can take it to bigger break out zone for higher range…

Sterlite – can be bought abv 180 with SL of 175 can do 190-195.. but I consider it as high risk bet as it can decline back to 1730-170 levels as well…

The stock is in free fall mode for quite some time and for time being on EOD charts it doesnt suggest anything has changed.. plz let me know if u ve checked the intraday charts cause i dont use it..

Sorry for the delay..

i analyse stocks absed on trendline studies channels and triangles.. and in my 4 years of exp in TA its my observation that stocks retace back to the break out and break down levels before they they move further most of the times.. being spcifice to sterlite earlier i had given to short the stock with tgt of 155-150 in short term and the stock brock down and retraced back to the breakdown levels and now the stock has given a good break out as u ve told and is near to the channel resistance of 180 only consistent close above it would mean that it has strength to move on else it ll retest the break out zone soon and given the levels at which mkts are trading u can expect lot of volatile sessions..

so my view is based on TA+my past observation..
hope my explanation is satissfactory to u..

busy nor next few days due to some personal work.. mkts are in a range of 5750-6070 levels... i m using the excel its a very good effort of urs.. give me some more time ll come with some feedbacks

Hindalco few days back mentioned about 240 as a possible tgt on friday it has done all the tgts closed at 239+..

Siemens above 790 tgt was 810-830-850 has done 810 now moving towards 830 now..

Infosys - now 100 rs short of my tgt of 3500..

Jindal Steel and power - can be bought above 710 tgt can be around 730-760 abve which it can turn out be a real blast..


PNB - update on previous call above 1230 stock can do 1250-1275-1300 levels

The stock has been having a good base at 1265 and now the resistance at 1325.. have posted the charts few days back now the stock is abck to the top end of range above 1325 can to 1380 in short term

Spport for the stock is at 445 below which it can do 435-420..
