how to find support and resistance for trading options?
i read somewhere..to find find support and resistance for any strike..
1.for CALL options..Higher open interest in call option means..the underlying stock may face strong resistance in that area of srike price..
2. for PUTs reverse..
so for nifty..highest open interest is building at 6000 call option and for puts..5300pe is the highest OI.
so..nifty has support at 5300pe and resistance at 6000ce..is that right? |

| generally yes, rrk and that's because OI is mostly due to writing (selling) of options. |

| rrk, probably less than 10 days ago, I told you to buy 6000ce. you bought at around 13 and sold at 25 when I cautioned you. today it was probably 15 times. I am feeling terrible. |

Haha...sometimes we can not guess more than ...but taking something is better than loosing...but ur 6000ce is reallyyy Good call...we are expecting another one from uuuu...guruji..

I will try but it's stupid to fight liquidity. If NS doesn't take out 6210-20 tmrw, you can buy just one lot of any one of 5800 to 5500pe for oct. |

I know but first, I think you bought it early and second, lower PEs will be cheaper and hence much lesser loss but likely high gain, with luck. |
