My request to all the members please don't over expose your investment in 1-2 stocks. Please depute equal funds for each stock and strictly follow the rules given in this thread. From 22nd Dec. till date, 14 stocks have been recommended for investment. However, we have to keep around 10 stocks in our portfolio and keep on rotating. Some members who are full time traders or can devote more time to portfolio, can raise their number of stocks upto 15. Everyone has to decide on their own that what stock to exit to give place for new one. My criteria for exit is when stock slows down after performance or performs at a slow pace. I will not be giving calls for exit because I don't who's holding what stocks in his portfolio. So exit decision will be depending on individuals.

Thanks.

hey guess chart looks good with flag ! but all the crossovers have happend a little earlier .so im doubtfull but the big pole and flag formation is quite fast !
please give ur views hansraj

Hi Mahesh, I think there is a small misunderstanding about crossovers. As per my stock selection gudelines, crossover within 3 previous candles is one parameter for selection of stock. But if crossover has happened earlier and a breakout happens, then I have to just ensure that at that time 5 ema is above 13 ema and 13 ema is above 26.

Sorry Harsh, I am on other computer and stock analysis data remains at home, will let u know in the evening.

Hi

Target was 51 points higher from previous days low (423). it was calculated on the basis of pole low as open price of 11/11/2009 and pole high as close of 30/11/2009. You will see i had calculated it in a conservative manner because if i take longer pole the strength calculates above 8 points for 16% profit, there was a mismatch which certifies that breakout was not strong otherwise profit of 15% generally comes with strength level of 3 - 4.

Thanks

Hi All

I am attaching today's stock performance sheet containing all the stocks given here. The indexes have fallen today about 1% and overall performance of the stocks have been 1.3% today. One more point, still no stop loss has triggered and we have to hold our positions. If any stop loss triggers on closing basis, only then we have to exit. In this sheet, 15 stocks have been indicated, had I exited 5 stocks (I actually exited from my own portfolio but not disclosing here) on rotational basis, I must have been in much more profits today during the falling market. So there is a cushion built-in in the system, if we follow the rules, it will automatically keep on giving us exits at given points and we will not only keep on booking on profits on rotational basis but also if market turns around, only few stocks are at stake for making losses.

Therefore, I have today started a new thread on portfolio - Equity Portfolio - Stocks, Future & Options under the section - "Trading Journals" Columns. Let's discuss there how we can build an ideal portfolio which should work in all type of market conditions.

Thanks

Hi All

No flag pattern exercise today? Please let me know if any pattern is found in any stock.
I have come to know that few people are buying the stocks given by me even above the recommended price. I request that don't buy above the recommended prices as it may increase the quantum of loss in case of stoploss triggers. If price of a stock remains above the recommended price, don't buy it. Please read the system how to buy stocks at different levels in previous pages of this thread, that system may suit few people who are not regular traders.

Thanks

That is a good advice. How many days your recommendations are valid -3 trading sessions from the date of recommendation, provided the SL is not stuck nor the target. your advice please.

i've not traded intraday, but i think i sud 've been taken sl on close, this may be my mistake,
sl for basf was 427.60, i've sold at 425 in bse, even in nse it has gone to 427
sl for centenka was 314.20 and it has been hit at same in bse today

another mistake may be that i ve bought above recm price so i m feeling so bad about it

Hi Nil

As to Raj's rules BASF and Century Enka calls are less than 5 days it can be reentered if price cross 20 EMA, however his Nifty future calls in another forum is in short position, may be this two stocks hit SL tomorrow, definetly he will answer your question tomorrow morning look at the forum tomorrow morning
