Hi Hans,

I'm very happy to see the kind of information been shared in this forum, this gives some hope of learning technical analysis with live examples. But it would be great if you can prepare a step by step process to select a stock, indicators to consider, calculate RR ratio, calculate Stop Loss & Target etc.

vinod

Hi vinod, you need to read all previous posts in this thread, the rules, examples and how to use various indicators are given there. Please go through the entire thread

Thanks

Hi

I generally take 60 trading days for a flag, but it may be 10-20 days more or less if it qualifies all other parameters. Flags are repetitive in nature so you can find multiple flags in some charts. I have given one chart of technical parameters which i consider while selection of the stocks, you also need to read all the posts of this thread to understand all points.

Thanks

Hi

Following stocks were not selected due to following reasons :

Thermax - Not a breakout
RIIL - Not a breakout
Jaicorp - Failed Risk Reward Ratio
REDINGTON - Not a pattern
gm breweries - not a pattern
Acrysil - Failed Risk Reward Ratio

These stocks were selected for final checking :

Nirma : Qualified all the parameters but failed the Risk Reward Ratio which came at 2.71 and it must be more than 3. So we will not go for Nirma.
Havells : Selected and call is being given.
Fkonco : Selected and call is being given.

Thanks for your kind support. I again request the members to please disclose how they are finding the stocks.

BUY Fresenius Kabi Oncology Ltd.(Fkonco)
CMP:148.50
SL:140.70
Target:182.00
Recom.Price:151.00 - 140.80
Strength:4.29
Time for Target:16 days
Expected Profit : 23%

BUY Havells India Ltd.
CMP:609.80
SL:564.40
Target:774.00
Recom.Price:616.00 - 565.00

Expected Profit : 27%

As the market may be down today, try to buy these stocks at lower levels but not below the recommended price. Follow the rules of rotation of stocks. Members whose stocks have gone above 10 may start booking profits by exiting the slow moving stocks or stocks which have moved up and now have stopped moving.

Thanks

Perhaps a dumb question, apologies. cent enka close yesterday 20th is 303.1 below the stop loss of 314.2. but still ema(5) did not cross down ema(13). in such a case what would be the best strategy
EXIT or WAIT . Which takes priority stop loss or ema cross ovaer

ema cross over to be used only for exiting stocks to give place for new entrants. In this case, it is clear stop loss triggered, simply exit.

Hi Hans,

I'm not clear on how you arrived at the target price, target period, upper buy range and final range.

Thanks
