Booked 2 long positional trades today (YESBANK & ASIANPAINTS) with good profits

Exited WIPRO shorts today with loss as the stock has become sideways

Initiated 2 fresh shorts today (IOC & IBULHSG)
2 stocks have become bullish and should be accumulated in cash for investment perspective (GAIL, BAJAJAUTO)

Booked HDFCBANK longs with good profit (55K) Booked TATAPOWER shorts also with good profits (50K) .

Exited INDUSIND Bank long position with marginal loss (6K) as stock has now become sideways.

Initiated 5 positional shorts : Bharti airtel, BHEL, GRASIM, IDEA & TATAMOTORS.

Total M2M profit (including open and closed positions) stands at 2.96L now

Views updated for all Nifty stocks as of today's EOD - 18 stocks are bullish and should be accumulated in cash, 28 stocks are bearish and investors should stay away from them currently. 11 stocks are sideways so again not ideal for investments.

Yesterday while Sensex closed at all time highs, I had loaded shorts in 5 different stocks based on my study, all of them have fallen today nicely even when Nifty has closed flat.

I have booked PNB shorts today as they have given good profits (24K) and also exited LUPIN longs as the stocks has turned bearish now (48K loss).

I have also opened a fresh positional long trade in INFY.

Total M2M profit (including open and closed positions) stands at 3.5L now with both long trades and short trades being profitable.

Views updated for today EOD - 18 stocks remain bullish, 31 Bearish and 8 sideways. Clearly shows that only 18 stocks are keeping the Nifty Index afloat though underlying broader mkt sentiment is bearish. Any long only cash investor who started investing in the stocks I had called as bullish at the start of this thread should be sitting on around 3% to 4% gain in 25 days (against 1.5% gain made by Nifty)

I was carrying 7 positional longs and 11 positional short positions overnite as well.

5 out of 7 long positions showed relative strength today barring the pharma stocks DREDDY & SUNPHARMA. DREDDY fell almost 10% and I have closed the position (it wasnt an ideal setup to start with but I took the risk and it backfired, lesson learnt angel

).

10 out of 11 short positions fell nicely today except IBULSHGFIN. I have booked profits is TATAMOTOR short and BHEL.

Now carrying 6 Long positions and 9 short positions.

Total M2M profit (including open and closed positions) stands at 3.95L now - both long trades and short trades being profitable overall

Major short covering yesterday. IOC gained almost 4% so I have exited the positional shorts there.

Opened a fresh positional long in M&M.

Total M2M profit (including open and closed positions) stands at 3.59L now - both long trades and short trades being profitable overall

One month of running this thread completed, roughly 10% to 15% return on positional trading capital in a month.
