hello! I'm fine, Tks! Wish u too!
Kiran, I dont trade EOD, my max limit is upto 15TF only (small trader )! I cant get this "contra trade" subject .For Nifty/stocks/crudeoil i enter based on 15Tf's trend & using 5TF pivot to exit.In silver 95% trading based on 5TF trend. As i explaind many times ,to enter 5TF rejection RSI values are must! Ys as u said RSI5 should come out of OS for long entry- means atleast one candle must close below 30 (RSI5) . Ignore if the pivot created without OB/OS in 5TF. Only candle touching to 34 ema not enough for 5TF.RSI5 signals are must! you will get if u back-test it.Recent ex is 31/01/'12 (silverm) .Kiran i dont use RSI values to exit.Mostly my targets are towards new low/ high. 75% i'l book there & will add at next rejection.
Hope u r not confused wth my answer.......! lol
( 34ema is better for 60Tf too,whatever is stick anyone 34 or 13)

Once again thank you for your detailed answers, Jai. Really appreciate the help you are giving through this forum.
1. Please notice the bolded portion of the quoted message of yours. Good you exit at new high or low.. How do you determine a candle to exit when a new high or low is reached? that u said where you exit 75 % and u leave remaining 25% to get hit by tsl as per swing pivots in 5tf.
2. Also in some other post, you said when take entries in 15tf with your initial stoploss as swing pivot in 15tf itself(ofcourse you take entry based on your risk and hence the number of lots).. ur tsl is based on 5tf:
a) after the first entry in 15tf with initial stop loss in 15tf, there is a move and there is a first rejection in 5tf.. formed a new high in 5tf (which means it would have formed new high in 15tf also).. you change ur sl to 5tf swing pivot even though you are not in profit by that time?
b) In 5tf, it has to be a swing pivot to be considered for tsl? (as per your rules, in 5tf.. in order to consider a point swing pivot, not only a candle should touch 34ema but also rsi shd come out of ob/os)
Best wishes,
Kiran

Smart,
Ys i've noticed many times (say above 95%) these kind of pivots faild in 5TF.( without RSI5 signal). So that i've told RSI5 values are must in 5TF.In this case 1007.60 s not a valid DSP in 5TF, 1016.60 remains DSP both in 5& 15TF!

Ex -Nifty-1m, i've added longs on 09/02/'12 morning with pivot as Sl & book my profit @ 5424. Again on 10th i've added longs with Sl as pivot & today moring i booked it! Today later got another 5Tf rej & again profit book @ 5547. Now holding only 25%. This 25% i'l exit once 5Tf pivot crosd. This is my routine work!

Absolutely, I'l exit at that point with small loss! Few times it happend! But lot of times it saves me from " huge profit loss".
b) Again yesss for RSI5 @ 5TF!!

Smart,
I'm little confused, 13th feb 23.30 candle nowhere near 34 ema@ 15TF. But in 5Tf we can take that candle(21.30hrs) as a valid Pivot point.(not in this case)

So great and nice of you for your invaluable inputs
on 10th, i don't see any entry in 15tf? yes during the last one hour there was one entry in 5tf.. so u took 5tf entry that day for swings?
and on yesterday(i.e,., 15th) u entered at 14:34 candle with sl as 5518 odd? how many points below(for filter) low of the day or swing pivot(whichever u consider keeping ur sl w.r.t situations) u put ur sl?
Cheers
