SmartC, when u took 5TF rejection trade, at that time 15TF was indicating Up trend/Downtrend?
Will u pls post 15TF chart ?

Ys first rejection on 5Tf s failed, but advantage is just 0.80 point Small Sl.That's y i've explaind u earlier, if 15 & 5 Tf s are in same trend, price may try to touch 15Tf's 34 ema! Two choices here 1) you can enter 50% of yr actual trade and place sl as pivot & enter 50% @ 15Tf rejection. 2) else best way is exit with small Sl and wait for nxt rejection.

Last week u advised to enter on 15TF basis......really, i feel it's better .

| Nickel & copper in uptrend....TSL as per 5tf in nickelmini..989.30..& coppermini..412,70...(coppermini USP 15tf is 410.30)

Jai,
Seeing the chart I have a query kindly give your inputs. We are in up trend as dps has been broken but the rejection which are formed either by rsi OS or ema rejections have all been either in nominal profit or in loss (mostly) as we can see on the chart.
how do u trade such choppiness and also is there any way of avoiding it or its just keep following the rules and take the trades.

Jai, thanx...what i have understood from recent discussions of you & sherbaaz is this..
1. 5tf up & 15tf up-----Can Take 5tf BULLISH rejections..
2. 5tf dn & 15tf up-----NO TRADE ZONE(high risk)..in this case wait for either 5tf to be in uptrend OR 15tf to be in dntrend..i.e situation-3.
3. 5tf dn & 15tf dn----Can take 5tf BEARISH rejections
4. 5tf up & 15tf dn---Again NO TRADE ZONE..
please correct me if i am wrong on any point..if these are to be applied on nickel chart, then the chart looks like this..

should take all rej.....! Mostly wat i do is, if pivot is too far i'l reduce my qty &will add lower/higher level.But i follow 5Tf strictly.Once 5TF change it's trend then i'l exit immediately.
