Kiran,

Very Happy hello..... Crudeoil given just 2 entries in previous swing, where do u got this much candles Question First entry by breaking pivot @4301, initial SL u can use breakout candle's high or 2ATR. 4301- 4215 .Here profit booking is yr choice..... !!next entry dwn rej @ 30Tf , entry @ 4320 with SL 4337 . 4320-4226 (again ......profit booking is yr choice....)

Kiran If you are new to his strategy, pls trade wth silvermicro (minimum2 lots)atleast 2,3 months then increase qty step by step, after that u can move to other counter copper, silvermini, crudeoil, etc.,

Jai

Smile thanks Jai for your responses and suggestions..

Could you please explain how did u consider 4320 as your second entry? that means u considered the 1030 candle on 18th to be start of the swing with downward pivot to be at 4337 i.e, high of 11-1130 candles? So that means you had both entries based on Type 1.. right?

my second question is pertaining to exit and sl - for sl, other than the swing high or low or breakout high, based on ATR.. for shorts, it would be the entry + 2*ATR (ATR taken at the point of entry right?) yes i need to go thoroughly through the SSPS forum.. just a small question.. don't mind..

Also this is a very important question i feel.. in both the entries, we had very short swings.. how do u exit? (could be one of these right, RSI risen out of OS and formed a higher low or price moved above EMA and followed by a confirmation candle taking out the pierced candle high or based on customized risk/reward ratio ) any other type of exit did i miss?

Please help me understand my answering the above questions.. thanks so much once again..

(thanks is just not enough)

Regards

Kiran

Kiran,

Sad Sad Could you please explain how did u consider 4320 as your second entry?

i've attached the chart already,12& 12.30 candles in 30TF(18/07) are rej candles. So entry as usual start from nxt candle.( 4320 was my entry point that day)

Ys u need to revisit forum for EXIT, ATR , for swing trade i use Pivot as SL & for rejection entry i use rejcandle's high, low or day's high, low whichever is highest & lowest!

Honestly, i'm not a right person to answer yr "important" question!

(could be one of these right, RSI risen out of OS and formed a higher low or price moved above EMA and followed by a confirmation candle taking out the pierced candle high or based on customized risk/reward ratio )

I'm really not aware of anything which u've mentiond Crying or Very sad . I'm very small & simple trader! I want to keep this system as simple as it is!! Usually @ crude, if the moving is above 100 point or closer to 100 point i'l book my full profit, else i'l ride untill trend change. Once i book my swing trade, then i'l enter @ rejection & will close my trade as intra! I never carry my intra trade for next day!

Regards,
Jai

Dear Rainbow,

Need your help to understand spec sir's swing pivot trade set up, if it can be useful using daily (eod) charts.

I found This trade set up very interesting, because in the thread " my story" everyone is talking about how they recover their losses using this strategy.

rightnow i am using 55 days sma breakout base trading system. but specs sirs system sounds trader friendly.

for that i need your guidance pls reply.

thanks and regards.

Hello Arjun20,
I'm sorry if i'm intruding in the conversation;

However, the possible reason(s) for not taking long could be (per my understanding):

1) The trend is considered down until the Upswing pivot is broken so no long trades. The possible long entry (as suggested) could just be a pullback/mean reversion towards 34 EMA(possible whipsaw). We need to take a deep breath here and paitently wait for rejection to occur
focus (which is what happened later)

2) The RSI (5) was in the OB region.

Jai Bhai Sahi hai na Question

Regards,
Sanchit AEOM

Thnx Jai sir for regularly posting pivots.
Jai sir , i have one doubt @Crude 30tf chart u posted y'day (regd which there were Q&A betn u and Kiran). (trade done on 15or16 th Jul)
Jai sir, in tht post u mentioned 2 trades (both short). First when , earlier pivot was taken off and second when there was rejection.
Now sir, i understood both ur entries. But, bfor second entry there was a Opportunity for going Long also by taking out 34EMA line. Coz, at tht moment, 'how i could know, tht this obunce back is temporary one and NOT TO ENTER LONG here'......And later u took Short trade.
Can u pls elaborate a little @ NOT TAKING LONG TRADE plssssss....(whenver u get time)

rgds
