first trade was taken on 1st nov..last trade today morning...it had total of 23 trades..i take entry with 2 lots and exit one lot @ 25 points. rest moves until opposite signal is triggered...I use 5 min chart with super-trend(5,2) and EMA 40 for confirmation.... |
a short call we tigger when 5 min candle close below 11450..long above 11505
thnx for the info... so we have to take all the trades by the system...
can u post the current status of bnf on 5 min ? |

also pls share any excel of backtesting if u have done... also is there any tool in ichart to do backtecsting ?

Hi Intratrader,
Seems to be using the supertrend indicator well. By the way for any TF u will be using the 5,2 or u will be changing it when the TF goes big like say 30tf/60 and also would like to know the stocks that u pick under this setup bcoz the same setup mite not be alike in all the stocks. Can u brief this up.

we need adjust parameters as per different scrip, diff tf...
this what i found for few scrips...
relinfra and relcaptial 5 min tf with supertrend (5,2) L&T 15mins super-trend (7,1) tatasteel 5 mins super-trend (7,2)
