i think i mentioned in my thread that after a correct entry
the sl should be low/high of the candle crossing upper or lower band

entry shd be above or below the candle high or low crossing upper or lower band , whichever be the case in bullish or bearish signals

after progressing the trade sl can be moved up/down

profit can be booked when candles starts drifting away from band towards ma line .

the more higher TF the less whipsaw, if you see 5 minute chart it got 2 signal but one is where sl is trigger

Note: its not any recommendation, the chart posted are for learning purpose only.

In the Higher timeframe also your Stoploss is triggered.
MACD used has SMA, I think it should be EMA

as per SVkum

the sl should be low/high of the candle crossing upper or lower band

which was never triggered in higher TF, pls see again.

thanks

You are right.

I was considering the candle close below the 10 SMA as a stop loss.
I was referring the .pdf attached at the start of the thread.

Even though I like this thread/strategy, I was not able to perform using this strategy.

I am replying/questioning to keep this thread alive.

Pl see todays chart for tatamotors 15tf

see entry point and stoploss point ,

still candlles are not drifting towards ma line

we may lift our sl , and wait for reqd chart pattern for exit

nI have experienced that higher tf the less whipsaw it has, but since we are doing this intrady so best is to choose between 10 and 15 tf

thanks

SvKum
What will be the target for the trade setup ?
Entry & SL is clearly defined. Will it be close below the 10 SMA or 1:2, 1:3 target, generally which people follow ?
Will it be fine trade with 2 lot, book 1st lot @ 1ATR and the rest continue for 10SMA, something like that ?

Ideally this type of bb strategy in 10 min tf is best left to automation with plugins!?
Seems a good strategy
