govt has not been able to do anything about spitting, urinating, defecating in public nor anything about traffic violations. only corruption will increase. and what about bidis or chewing tobacco? |

1 Mad smokers will continue to buy irrespective of price and restrictions
(Unlikely Central Govt will kill tobacco cultivation and use 100% as lot of revenue loss, tobacco growers in AP/ Karn etc affected, large no of agro workers depend on tobacco like drying, curing etc)
2 Those who want to quit (like me, 4y 6m back) will do so, rest = (1) above
3 Only 40-45% ITC's revenue from cigs now, and falling
4 Other items like stationery, hotels, candy, e-market for rural areas are MORE profitable for ITC
5 Also exporting tobacco leaf to other countries so can adjust for falling domestic tobacco revenue
6 Management very smart incl Deveshwar, have planned ahead
7 Large pile of cash and cash equivt, land, factory sheds for organic and inorganic growth

Trade carefully in shorts.. This market doesn't give much of money in shorts and it traps shorters..

You just read the fine print of ET paper today of the same article.. Looks like a vested interest article about smokers !!
It reads like this:
Do you smoke / know someone who smokes / chew tobacco / hold shares in ITC ? This might be good time to try and kick the habit.....
Why reporter is bothered about anyone holding ITC share ? Don't you think something fishy ? |

( which timeframe which angle which high / low projected...)

Nifty could fall to 6400 .. As per Gann Price and Time methodology, it has turned bearish when it pulled back to 8335 on 26th October, 2015 for downside cycle to end around 6400.
Above is my view as per Gann method and not a suggestion to Short the Nifty for downside Target level.
