| rejection confirmed in 15tf nifty-1m only now @ 1.45.. now shd v short blw 5400.. huge initial sl hw to handle such cases.. jai sir r u short ? if so @ what rate and time.. so that v cud also learn to handle such cases..

sir , on 27th feb nifty -1m 5tf. 1st candle made a new low which shifted dsp of 5tf from 5564 to 5494.. ( 24th 3.30 5tf candle hi).. is that wrong ... plz...

I've told u many times......pls ignore pivot @5TF if it made without rsi5! RSI 5 signals are must in 5TF!
( As usual my short entry based on 5Tf rej- 10.50-10.55 short sell trigrd below 5464.ystrady we got one rej @5TF 14.45-14.50 candle-but price didnt move below rej candle so no entry ystrday)
nsk if sl s too far pls leave it & wait for nxt rej!

Hi Jai,
I am trying to understand how to trade on 5 min tf. Kindly correct me if i am wrong in the following:
1) trades are only for intraday, must be closed before the closing.
2) for rejection, 34 ema rejection has to be with rsi(5) OB/OS. means on 34 ema rejection will not be traded. both the conditions are to be satisfied. What if only rsi(5) condition is satisfied ?
3) trend reversal is same as its on 15 min tf.
kindly reply and also point out if any of the thing i have missed.

You can carry, if 5 & 15Tf s in same trend with same SL rules!
Ys for rejection OB/OS values are must in 5TF!
RSI5 with rejection rules
For trend reversal also RSI5 values are imp like 24/02/'12 15.30 candle's high s valid pivot based on rules! But without RSI OS it may not work much. ( It's from backtest results)- & Only for 5TF!

Nilay, i think u are watching NF chart of march series on ODIN thats why u are getting it as 5590.45
Whereas here on thread we all follow Ichart-I month data. So data on 23feb was of feb series and on 24feb was of march series.
via a vis on ur ODIN on 23 as well as on 24 feb u were seeing March series....

Hello Arjun got it.In my odin i cant view expired contract.So in NF march contract unless a new DSP is formed, u wll consider 5564.15 as DSP(of Feb contract) and once it crosses this value consider as an uptrend in 15 min TF.Am I correct?

RSI 5 and EMA touch.. both? or just RSI 5 is sufficient? ffor it to be considered both a swing pivot and an entry:-)
You answered this question in STOP that both have to satisfy.. but your stressing on RSI and not talking about EMA forced me to ask about this again.. sorry for bothering again

For rej entry u cant trade wthout 34ema, so ema also must there! But to find pivot RSI5 OB/OS enough. (5TF is for TSL only & 5TF rejection entry if 5& 15 s n same trend-swing)
Based on yr BNF, there's no touch in 34ema but RSI5 OS zone, so it's a valid pivot!(13.40 candle didnt touch 34-28/2  )

NF -- 5mins - Uptrend - 5326.90
BNF -- 15 mins - Uptrend - 10179.50

NF 5TF uptrend??????(pls read my rep to nsk & even i've replied u ystrday abt the imp of RSI5 in 5TF. Anyway it's yr choice, u can take or leave this RSI )

| jai sir, now u wud book profits around previous low ( 5326 ) and ur sl for this short @ 5464 is 5516 ( previous swing hi)..trying to understand fully, and regrets for the confusion b'cos of me.. i missed this entry and now sitting idle.......
