Dear Jai,
Just backtesting and checking a few things.. so it made me ask you the following question:
regarding TSL, you said you wait until a properly formed swing pivot is hit in the 5tf before taking out all the positions. That's nice.
But i would like to ask you would you consider TSL method (in your trading) suggested by Spec sir (TSL method that says add 0.5 ATR to the newly formed low once 1:1 is achieved) if that hit occurs before new swing pivot is formed in 5tf?
Thanks so much as always
Gratitude
Kiran

KL,
I've backtested this 5Tf pivot for my silver trading! (Coz mostly 15Tf pivot should be 1000 to 2000 points difrent from low/high) And started using to NF/stock also.....! When i started using this 5TF, spec sir didnt updated ATR based TSL ! For me, this 5Tf s very simple to follow, so i've adopted it!
Pls let us to know yr backtesting results!
Jai

Seniors, how to handle these huge gaps? As today nifty opened way up from the reversal point. Now should we wait for the rejection for long entry? Kindly guide.

you should have placed the sl 0.5 atr above the high of first 5M candle if hit position is closed if not keep trrailing it on 5M .

You can probably combine the Greater Fool Zone theory with this. See attached chart.
Price is known to retrace upto 15ema on 30 min tf after reentering the envelope. On strong trends ; there maybe a time correction where ema catches up with price.
