nsk, as jaii has clarified that for pivot break a tick below the USP is enough for trend change. i think u r confusing rejection with pivot break. if a cc happens below the previous usp then its a rejection also. Hope this helps.

jai sir, trend in 15tf changed only on cc of 3.15 ( v did not hav a cc blw 5345 in 2.45).. hope i'm right |

the rejection you marked on the chart is correct bullish rejection but it had not made a new recovery high thus cannot consider it as USP.

Today we got a bearish rejection in nifty-1m at 11.. i took it. this is my first attempt at swing entries. however, after i took it.. i noticed in 5tf that rsi 5 was os.
Jai, sher, rain et al, could any of you please clarify in these cases we should go ahead taking the rejection entry as per our rules?

Nilay , Kiran, IMHO in case of rejection entries, nearest swing high /low becomes the stoploss. and if previous high/low is taken out ,then obviously iit will become the reversal point as well .Will request the seniors to correct me if wrong.

there are various ways of putting initial sl.. one would be the rejection high/low.. or 2 atr. or it could even be the candle we enter.. that candle's high + 1 atr. please do your backtesting, and adopt whatever is convinient to you based upon your risk apetite. this should be your personal choice.. but whatever your choice is should be implemented with consistency (that is a challenge for me right now )

hi,
if you are new to the system forget multi time frame and focus only on 1 tf. as multi time frame will create confusions and u will not be able to take trade confidently.
stick to one tf and make money which will enhance your confidence in the system. my suggestion is use 15Tf for couple of months and make money.
and understand the minute point of the system once you make the system your own u can play around.
