As per this great system stoploss order to be placed only below/abv the USP/DSP.. |
Amigo,as per my understanding, in today's case Stop is 4980.1 |

Sonila, i would not say you were wrong in entering Longs @5032. Time will decide outcome. But prior jumping into trade you should have thought over few more things. Today you may succeed in your Longs ( and i pray for the same), but make it a habbit to check other things before jumping into trade immediately after breach of pivot.
Did u thought over Stop ?
Your post inquiring Stop was after your post stating Entry.
If you spotted 4954.95 as inital stop- was that correct ? If suppose it was correct, did u analyse whether it fits your risk apetite or not ?
Even if correct stop as per my understanding is 4980.1 i.e. reversal candle low, it was 52 odd points. Were you comfortbale with that Stop.
Though not mandatory to look at 30TF, it was still showing down trend. And
until today we were in downtrend from 5250 odd levels.
This does not mean that you should refrain from taking Longs. Read following Spec sir's quote -
Quote: | Stop loss should be below the reversal candle. If the candle is too big and requires a very big stop loss which does not suit your risk tolerance, don't take the trade. It's not the end of the world. In such cases, wait for a pullback to 34 ema and rejection to enter. |
Either there will be price correction or Time correction and price will meet 34EMA. I personally will wait for that instance to analyse set up again and think over entry probabilities.
Alternatively u can venture upon valid rejection on 5min TF .
Hope i am clear....

Please go thru SSPS doc again. See charts with markings of Stop which Spec sir fad given. He illustrated stops for upside as well down side reversals with examples. |

I have 1 doubt,the original strategy,posted by speculator sir,says to follow 15-min tf. But u r telling to follow 30-min tf. I m confused. Plz clarify.
Thnx. |
sonila,
choice of timeframe is up to the used. Spec gave us a method. He has shown enough examples of 5min, 15mmin, 30min, 60min, daily, weekly..
what more one can ask |

Hi Arjun,
Are you keeping the stoploss at the candle low which has caused the reversal ? as Spec sir told that upside reversals are mostly "V" shaped.. ?
I dont have charts as of now so i am not sure about 4980 as stoploss |

Both sl i.e, 4955 and 4980 are today triggered for the long made at 5032. |

TI , yes
But i did not entered because of earlier mentioned concerns. So theoritically, 4980 was Stop. |

Sherbaaz, i m referring to 15-min tf only, according to which, last dsp was 5024, which was today taken out in 9.30am candle, also price was above 34-ema, this was a clear trend change and clear long set up, but u r telling there was no long....where i m wrong, plz explain so that i can get a clear idea. Thnx. |

@ sonila, pl go through the basic methodology once again..spec sir has clearly stated..he is fan of rejection entry.. (& not pivot break entry.)..so.in 15tf..yes the dsp was taken out..but that was risky entry..so rejection was awaited which never came(neither 34 touch & bounce nor rsi os & getting reverse) as shown in box area..hence no long was initiated, hence no SL..hope, i am able to clear.. |
