yes Sonila, even i had a doubt about the crossover thing.. but since this method is not about crossovers hence ignored.. but such situations appear off and on...part of this game

as far as I understand, It is a valid rej. in line with SSPS trend only(type-I). Type-2 entry are conter-trend rejections...

sumesh,
as per spec, what i understood,is
if entry which is taken immediately after usp/dsp taken out, is type.1, which is generally risky as involves big sl
and
if entry is taken after that from a rejection from 34-ema is type.2, which generally has less sl.

I MAY BE WRONG...if so, seniors...plz correct.
thnx.

In my last post , i tried to explain trending behavior of NF, as explained by Spec sir.
Today , It failed and gave us signal much ahead, that Rejection is in Danger. finally SL got hit.
AT point A in chart, we got rejection at 5098(cc) and 5093.30(low of candle) and RsI(5) OS, see point A1, with SL 5025.
AT point B in chart , we got new low i.e. 5093 but RSI(5) failed go below 30 or OS zone, see Point B1 .
This was the first indication , that our Rejection trade is in danger. SIDEWAYS MOVEMENT LIKELY COME. here we may reduce the positions or close the trade.

Initiated rejection short trade @ 5122, exited @ 5127 with 5 pts loss. Why rejection shorts failed 2 times serially ??? Any reason ???

Sonila,

I think because of the range bound nature of the market these whipsaws are happening. The nifty is showing remarkable strength in the face of not so good news from global mkts and a weakening rupee. Only positive is correction in commodities specifically crude.

So I ve been taking 15 mins bullish rejections but purely for intraday only.

guess just have to wait for the mkt to show its hand and trend.

Regards

Aptcap, yes, u r very correct, taking connta trend bullish rejections for purely intra purpose with 20/30 pts gain seems more rewarding in these scenarios, even 5-min tf can be cosidered for this purpose only, i think.
