Today at 5126 , Shown in figure , THERE WAS A REJECTION . It reached RR 1:1 . (ATR=13.3)
Then TSL GOT HIT AT 5118. At POINT A It made LOW OF 5098 . POINT A1 RSI(5) is OS. A LITTLE PULL BACK AND AGAIN NEW LOW 5095.60 and RSI AGAIN OS AT B1.BUT THE CANDLE FAILED TO CLOSE BELOW LAST CANDLE. THIS WAS THE FIRST SIGNAL THAT REJECTION IS IN DANGER.

Hi Amar,
N how will u interpret the trade taken on 1st rejection which took place on 19/06/12 at 12 noon and also at 1:45 pm both in 15 mins TF...

19/06/12 at 12 noon........invalid rejection CC below 34 ema but not below 8 ema, so no trade.
at 1:45 pm
RR was not favorable so no trade .....and 8 ema is above 34 ema. ..I dont rush to trade when 8 ema is above 34 ema, in case of bearish rejection . and below 34 ema in case of bullish rejection.

It seems in the last week or so contra trend rejections are proving to be more profitable than rejections in line with trend. Even today - bullish rejn post trend change hit SL and bearish rejn at approx 5160 was more profitable.
Have to be nimble in these range bound mkts.

Its been difficult time for rejection trades based on SSPS. I think difficulty is there across all time frames but i am sure better days are just around the corner.
My strategy is to just stick to the system and keep trading.

I remember spec saying "EMA touch is REQUIRED for establishing pivot points.. For trading rejections it may not be required. for pivots it is MUST".
The ema34 val for that candle is around 5288 and the low did not breach this value.. That is ema34 touch did not happen and hence the low 5290 cannot be treated as USP IMHO.

It is (either touch of 34 )OR (near 34 AND RSI(5) oversold)..
for rejections what we only require is 8 ema coming towards 34 then move away, whether price is close to 34 or away, doesn;t matter...
