@ sw..after USP @ 5705 taken out..ssps method has not given any short entry..you still need to read a lot before applying it..

Smart no plan to trade as per this method as of now.

Yes, as per this thread entry was at 5705. However if you go by following thread of Mr Spec.

www.icharts.in/forum/entry-exit-and-stop-loss-guidelines-swing-pivots-system-t2269.html

He says - "(ii) For downside reversal the rules are same. We need a red candle which closes below the prior upswing pivot and close below the prior candle low. Stop loss rules are different here. One should place the stop loss above the immediate swing high on the charts. The reason being, tops have different characteristics than bottoms. Bottoms tend to be "V" affairs. Tops are "M" affairs. Tops gets tested many times before we go down in earnest. So putting a stop above the red reversal candle will almost always result in a stop-out."

Hence I assumed 15 mis reversal bar close 5691 NF as entry and last swing high 5750-51 NF as SL. Also this counts 60 points as SL.

Now he has told following for exit - "Technique #2: This is the technique i use. I exit about 30% of my positions on a 1:2 risk/reward. So if my stop size (risk) is 50 points, i close 30% of my positions on a reward of 2*50 = 100 points. The rest, i close on swing reversal."

So 60 points SL, and hence 60*2 = 120 points target for first 30%. It is 5691-120=5571 NF. Hence I told 30% exit here. and Rest 70% for reversal.

Also if I go through his charts, 5594 NF is good enough as DSP.

I was looking for these answers. You have certainly shown the path. It looks to me realistic.

He has said lots of things which are not covered in this thread.

I am yet to read evrything though!! Also I have not understood the method fully specially tactics handle different situations.

It's a matter of perspective. I consider 5594-5 the recent time it came close to 34 EMA as a new DSP.

True if we go though Mr Speculator's writeups, it is not necessary to touch 34 EMA. Turn around at 34 EMA and new low make it a pivot. It that sense 5594 NF qualify as pivot. One may follow the same thing all the time or not follow all the time.

I am just tracking the method. Do not trade by this. Yes it seems to have created new DSP at 5622. Experts can confirm.
