One more good point from SB

Speculator : Here's a small tip to swing traders.I calculate the Daily ATR. Ususally gap size are no more than 1/2 EOD ATR. So if daily ATR is 100 points, gaps will usually be around 50 points. Very rarely they exceed that. So if one is carrying position then calculate the overnight risk. If one can afford only 30 point max loss, then his trade should at least 20 points in profit to guard against gap losses. If my swing is not 20 points in profit i dump it and take the position nxt day

Dj,

I wish to enter @pivot cross & will place SL as usual 5Tf pivot. Reenter or adding would be based on 15Tf rejection. Very Happy

Regards,
Jai

AXISBANK
***********
This is my first attempt in this thread...

Though I have played many NVK setups, and few rejection based intradays, I would love to learn more and more from this group and share my understanding of this rejection based setups wonderfully started by Spec sir.. I'm sure I will get full cooperation from my friends out here...

Axis bank is showing constant divergence on 60 tf (and also on eod). May be we can enter in half qty at this level with a very small SL of low 1200. Rest half can be entered on breach of downside pivot @ 1268.55. Then if it picks up the trend we can possibly add more on 13/34 ema rejections.

This swing can be worth 100-150 points, I guess.

But this is only MY understanding of this setup, I would love to hear comments and modifications from my fellow trader friends.

Regards,
Sumesh

Though we can take this as new pivot, price has not touched 34EMA. This is not the ideal case pivot. Correct me if I am wrong guys.

Thanks,
Sri Hari

Sumesh Hello,
Look at axisbank eod chart. Last few sessions are congestion zone session. That is probable one reason that divergence is not working in axis eod. U can think of trading the breakout from congestion zone. Wait till that time.
Thanks and Regards
