Prabhakar is right. Those are rules for trade entry.
Even if we trade one tick above/below the pivot it's considered broken.

Yes, it works on all markets. For the paramters, it depends on the timeframe and the commodity that you are trying to trade. Can you be more specific on which commodity and what timeframe ?

Hai Rain, Jai, Prabakar and all
Since Speculator is not updating daily NIFTY pivots why can't someone update it daily. The thread is becoming very complicated with too many stock tips but in the way lost the main scrip, NIFTY futures. Please somebody volunteer and update Pivots like Spec did everyday before which will help beginners like us to follow. Thanks.

Hi All,
If possible pls update the uptrend/downtrend rejection levels for MARUTI in 15 & 30 mins TF. Also pls guide me in which trend MARUTI is trading. As per spec sir method.
It is confusing me to the see the huge discount level of MARUTI at 1197 and cash at 1220. Why is it so? Can anyone guide me on this.

hello, any reason why u dont think NF 30 Tf also in uptrend  24/05/'11- 13hrs candle's 34 ema @5416.69 & 5417.15 is candle high. So it's a valid pivot @30Tf too......

hi, MARUTI is in uptrend both 15 & 30Tfs. The upswing pivot is 1190(18/05/'11-10 hrs)candle. Once the new high above 1240.80(20/05/'11-9.30), the pivot will change.

Yes you are correct, previous swing,s low would be new pivot,so it's 5329.90. Breakout candle's (which breaks the pivot) high/low you can use for SL, or use 2 *ATR. It should not be a pivot.
