Hello every one. Now a days, I experience a peculiar problem. My PC is a P4 with 1.5 GB ram with around 4GB free disk space in the primary partition. The OS is WinXP. Yet, when I load the Jcharts, (with IE6/Fire Fox/Chrome), the system becomes very slow and takes hell of a lot of time to load. Some times, it simply hangs up. I need to use Task Manager to force close the process and start all over again. Though I am a non-techie, I checked with the Task Manager and found that almost 96% of CPU was engaged by System Idle Process. Googling for a solution did not really help as most of the responses were gibberish for me.
If someone has a solution for my problem, I will be very glad to receive it. Thanks. |

Dear friend,
Your system is infected with some trojans & viruses. Download Quickheal Antivirus & update it with latest Database from the Internet. Scan the whole computer in safe mode. In this way ur problem shld be solved.
Warm regards

Thank you Maneesh. I have Norton Anti Virus s/w(licensed), with auto updation. So, do you think, this s/w was not able to stop/control the malware?
I am using the BSNL net connection (Home 500 C+ )- they do not have the facility, I suppose, to block these mawares. During the peak hours, the speed is very low - hence I plan to buy the NetConnect pendrive from RCom. They offer to provide antivirus, anti spyware etc!
Any one is using the RCom upto 3.5MB speed PenDrive connection? If yes, please share your experience.
Thanks and regards. |
