500 million for Energias de Portugal(utility co., 25% stake)
German co Putzmeister( engg., undisclosed sum)
British utility Thames water
$ 490mil for Italian luxury yacht maker Ferriti Group
so what happens to debt ? |

ajaykaul: India has bought it, is buying it, will continue to buy it. If nothing else we are consistent. The Ministerial Study Group will bring out its Direct Foreign Investment (Overseas) Methodology and Implementation Report in Five Year Plan ending 2020 and implement it in 2030. Till then we will stick to US T Bills and ECB Bonds. (There is a rumor that Obama has reco SOMEONE for a US citizenship and Congressional Medal of Honor for routing so much TBills into New Delhi septic tank) Regards Prakash Holla |

Are you people from other states following the farce going on in A.P?. For the sake of habitants of other states….There is a CBI enquiry going on in A.P in Mining and real estate scams as per the High court orders.
A series of interrogations were being done on IAS officers by CBI, few officers were arrested and jailed too. Furious IAS officers resorted to trade unionism and a couple of days back after conducting a General Body meeting they called for a press meet in which one senior IAS officer questioned and expressed his anger so ‘innocently’ asking that Is it fair to catch hold of IAS officers who ate just 1 crore leaving the Ministers free who ate 100’s of crores?. He continued…..we demand implementation of the Article 14 of Indian constitution ( Article 14 guarantees equality before law).
The above episode declares the pathetic state of affairs in our country …no need for further comments …..   |
