| today nifty future opened at 5531 and could not cross 5542 to reach 5544 and presently trading at 5516-17. Today is railway budget also. hence we can not draw any conclusion that it is down trend. If you have placed order below 5500 (next level) it is ok. but market may reverse back on budget blues. So beware at least for this day.

| to the best of my knowledge this strategy is for TRADING be it intraday or for delivary. If you are confident that in next coming sessions the stock/future/option level can move from the delivary level (positive or negative) then take RISK of delivary.

| in case you have shorted nifty future at 5500 level then your sl is 5511,5522 like so as per chart. Always the stop loss depends upon once appetite for risk taking. Is it not wise to have stop loss at 5511 than 5544? Stop Loss is an emergency exist from market to minimise your loss in case market turns hostile to your thinking of market trend. Again your target for shorting 5500 will be 5489, 5478 so on. Trailing stop loss can also be applied accordingly.

| i follow icharts premium / options with different time frame like 3,4,5,mts for day trading with macd indicator and rarely carry over my position unless very sure of next day market trend.
