RR Sir,

First of all thanks for your continuous effort in sharing your knowledge with us.
I have a question on this methodology.

Say if a scrip/contract closes above 88 and we go long on some pullback and suppose if it closes below 88 some other day without reaching next green level (which in this case is 132). Should we exit the longs and go short in this case ?

Regards,
Dinesh S.

Unable to post the data but nifty 5500PE (march) has closed bullish after many days at 143. Now SL is close below 88.

Mr Dinesh

I have already given explanation, how to takeup trade in this thread to Mr Shekar.

Mr Jyothi:

Its nice to note, you have done backtesting for copper. Backtest for other commodities also.

Mr Vinst:

whenever a stock / Options closes above 132, findout if its necessary to keep 88 as SL in a rigid way, or you can keep 121 or 110 as SL on closing basis? Only when you keep backtesting with large datas of different stocks / options, you may not be able to come to conclusion. I have also given another hint in this thread, findout which Gann angle works well to have Stop from 44 multiples. Example, when stock / option closes above 132, findout which Gann angle is not broken on closing basis so easily.

Best Wishes

RR Sir,

Thanks for responding.

I am honored Sir, when people like you show interest in my posts.

I had missed your classes in SB in the early days of the Icharts. This is a god send opportunity once again and shall not let it go.

Will be posting more queries once I get hands on the strategy.

Thanks once again.

SHEKHAR

RR Sir,

In nifty future feb contract om 21/2/12 and on 22/2/12 it faced stiff resistance @ 5632 and in intraday day it traded between the range of 5632-5588 without breaching any side. yday it breached 5588 as huge intraday fall was there.

I want to ask in intraday when nifty first time failed to breakout 5632 and after that made another failed attempt, on this failed attempt can we go short, keeping sl of 5643?

another thing I have observed that on 17th 5600 CE feb contract made an intraday high of 55.5 but failed to close above 44 and closed at 41 next day on 21st it again made a high of 54 but closed dart on 44 can we go short here next day ie on 22 at 44 keeping sl at 55?

kindly give your inputs.

Regards,
