Hello to all experts!
What time frame to use for TA when you intend to trade intra-day?
Meaning - when you do your homework -
What kind of chart do you use?
Daily /weekly
If you use daily chart ---how long? 15 days[60min/30min/??] or 20 days
Please help!
Thanks |

longer the time frames more reliable is the signal, personally I prefer the 3 minute and 5 minute charts. A smaller time frame can cause whipsaw signals, I also know of people who swear by the 15 minute charts.
The fact remains, experiment with different time frames and try paper trading with those time frames and then decide for yourself hich time frame suits you the best |
