When are the intraday trades (less than the normal margin) Auto Squared Off for :
1. F&O
2. Commo.
3. Cash Intraday.

Auto Squared Off for :
1. F&O - 3.15 PM
2. Cash Intra-day- 3.15 PM
3. Currency- 4.45 PM
4. Commodity- 11.40 PM (which is 15 minutes before the current market closing time of 11.55 pm.)

pls provide f&o and commodity margins intra & positional both..expecting as below as anything 40% for intra.

F&O, Commodity and positional margin requirement are as follows

• F&O – Intra-day – 40% of Exchange prescribed margin
• Commodity – Intra-day- 50% of Exchange prescribed margin
• Positional – As per Exchange Margin

I have opend the account, but it is taking more than 40 % of margin requirement. For one lot of Nifty future margin requirement is more than Rs.10000.

How is this taking more in my case?

Intraday (MIS) 9785
Normal 24463
