Amol,
That's for trade entry not for trend identification.If you are a high risk trader you can enter above the pivot break out candle, else wait untill get valid rejection.

Jai,
i have couple of doubts regard to 5 min tf as per 15 min tf as of now dsp is around 860. now assuming no new dsp will form we have to wait till 860 taken out on the upside to go long.
if now we see 5 min tf chart where as a new up trend has started (i have marked them respectively). and let say you have taken the trade on first or second rejection now what would you do will u carry this trade if yr sl does not hit on 5 min tf to next day or will you exit it at the close of the day?

looks interesting as on eod it has completed regular abc correction as per my undertstanding.

jai, that was the pivot ..but it has shifted to 261.30..candle low of 14-2-2012 of 2.45-3pm cc...as 34ema was 261.26..so i think we cn took it as pivot then..wat say...
or if not..then 254.30 of 13-2.2012 is rite..

ys the dif is just 0.04 point bet 34 ema & low....! Usually in this kind of situation we may use higher TF.

Hi Jaii,
one query from my side... please excuse, if u have already answered...
I enter on 15 min Rejection keeping SL as latest Highest high.... also I keep an eye on 5 min TF for any trend reversal.... once I get reversal on 5 min TF i exit my position....practically I am trading on above stated strategy... now the question is do we need 5 min and 15 min TFs to be in the same trend for trading 15 min rejection...as for me TSL is 5 min pivot.... but if 5 min is in opposite trend .. how do I trade 15 min rejection as I can not use 5min TF as TSL.... the best example could be SBIN for this month.... most of the time these days 5 min and 15 min are in opposite direction...
