Hi, You can trade 15TF's Trend based rej, irrespective of 5Tf Trend! Recent low/high is a decent enough SL.SBIN-1M- had given 2 valid rej in this UpTrend, first one is SL hit nxt is TSL hit. You could hav get good profits in previous trend, so after a good run this kind of small SL is not bad . Dont change the system, just trade it......

Thanks Jaii for your precious guidance...
I use 1 ATR, below or above low or high as TSL for SBIN... also 5min pivot as TSL... whichever hits first, I exit... do you think it is proper way... ? do you have any suggestion for ATR value, if you use ATR... ?

Sumesh_sol, whenever we input Pivots (PVTSPTS Buton), the charts seem to flatten out - thereby losing sight of the correct appearance. Can the charts show pivot levels without flattening the appearance?

Hi GHAISAS, I'm sorry I didn't exactly get you.. What I can tell you is that you can always zoom in and out required portion to explain your point. Please post some example of your problem, may be we can sort it out...

Sumesh, thanks. Yes, when we open Premium candle charts - that is the standard sight. Now, if we click on the PVT/PTS button (2nd panel from top, 4th from the left) and if we proceed further with Apply settings, we immediately find that the candle size is reduced / flattened - thereby not giving us the right picture of the ups and downs. May be our / my mind is set with the image occurring when the charts were opened (without PVT/PTS button being activated).
Is is possible to see pivot levels without changing the size dimensions of the candles (which were seen earlier to activating PVT/PTS) ?
May be it has to do something with original software.
Thanks for the concerned guidance - Sumesh.

VOLTAS
========
Voltas is in uptrend only as per SSPS.. however I'm taking this rej. trade as it has broken falling TL as well as previous high before rej...
I'd like to clarify that these are NOT requirement of SSPS, but just to give my long a bit more conviction.. SSPS basic requirements are all met anyways.
SL is 95.1..

Hi Sonila and Arjun,
I was also desperate to discuss stocks using SSPS system. Spec sir suggested me to open a new thread , and here we are...
http://www.icharts.in/forum/trading-stocks-using-swing-pivot-system-t3409.html
I also trade stocks like relinfra, recltd, sbin, finantech and mcdowell_n using SSPS method(in CASH only not in FnO). I would love to exchange our views and experience on various rejections trades.
Please let me know if u want additional information.
Regards,
Sumesh |
Great Sumesh bhai,
But i obserbved continuity missing in this thread. Pls post regularly in that thread. I will also track couple scrips there.
It may be possible that initially we may (/may not) take all trades. But surely it will help understand price movement , in LIVE day to day situations. During back testing, every thing looks rosy...

Arjun.... Till date Stocks(CASH) have been my favorites. I have always tried to apply various techniques successfully/unsuccessfully on them. Be it BO system, WW, bb10, SSPS.. stocks are what I dealt with always. The reason was simple , I could never dare to enter into FnO segment.
But seniors have advised me to concentrate on NF rather than many stocks to make serious money.
What I plan to do is to apply SSPS (the most logical of all techniques I came across so far) on NF and at the same time track only two stocks for trading with little qty.
I propose to track SBIN and RECLTD. nifty trades are anyways covered in other thread thoroughly. I'll try to post possible rejections trades in these two counters as and when they come. As you said correctly, whether we trade them or not is a different thing. But discussing rej. based trade will only confirm our learning..
If you can also post on one or two scrips, we can diversify our knowledge. I'm sure together we can win again.. !
