Entered into SBIN Long..

Few things to share:

1.) SL can be kept with a little margin... See in case of SBI, it took out SL marginally then back into +ve ...

2.) In case nf rej. is having wide SL like this one, try minifty... If it fits into your allowable SL limit, take it...

Sumesh, have u noticed, a very good bullish long entry happened, yesterday in larsen and turbo = lt, in 2.30 candle close, in 15-tf, from 34- ema and resulted in v.good upmove.

Yes, it was a valid rej. , but you can(and should) track only limited nos of scrips(2-3 max) . If you are tracking and trading LT , it must have given you a decent profit... I took SBI & Reliance trades other than nf. y'day..

SUMESH,
The bullish rejection, u mentioned, in LT, is from 8-ema, not from 34-ema.
Sometimes, 8-ema rejections become weak ones in comparison to 34-ema rejections. Still i longed l&t.

In fact, it is other way round, if you are getting a rej. even before price test 34 ema it means bullishness is more.

However, one should enter only on break of rej. candle's high.(here high is 1316.5). SL as such should be 1305, but learning from my previous experience, I'm keeping it a little low at 1301.

I try to book 50% at 1:1 , and rest trailing SL.. however, everyone can have their own money management depending on risk amount...

Low of the previous candle - 0.5* ATR

(ATR is an indicator. keep the cursor at any candle , correspoding to that you can see ATR value the lower section.)

This keep on increasing as new highs are made. However, if you get a big candle offering you decent return, there is no harm in booking there also.

Voltas is in uptrend only as per SSPS.. however I'm taking this rej. trade as it has broken falling TL as well as previous high before rej...

I'd like to clarify that these are NOT requirement of SSPS, but just to give my long a bit more conviction.. SSPS basic requirements are all met anyways.

SL is 95.1..

Booked 50% at 103 (34 ema on eod).. TSL 100 now..

Booked Rest qty of first buy at 110..
now holding remaining qty (of second rej. @102) with a TSL of 107
