Shesha, I respect u r thought and that applicables for the people who is in the bracket of 10% ie known fact is that 90% people r loosing money in the market. If u can make +70% return pa with strategy we can make fear as a friend and same time we can full fill our financial goals without burning ur hands. My believe is that strategic growth with discipline for long term is best instead of being in hot pot with every trade. |

sold 5700 ce aug @78, bought 5500 pe jul @38, bought nf aug @5590 two days back. today bought 5700 ce@90(-12), sold 5500ce jul @12(-26), sold nf aug @5650(+60). total gain 22 points. but i am charged rs 500 approx brokerage , so real profit 12 points, ie rs 600.
waiting to take another position on monday with a gap of 30 to 50 points in nf.
hope others also post their trading experiences here.
thanks Mr. Parray. |

yes to get as mentioned returns of parray sir strategy first we need to have less brokerage like rk or zerodha offering low charges as we do take around 15 lots per month otherwise your broker will get good returns. |

u mean to say we shd take call nd put option only when call option is around the double price of put, bt it normally does not happen, if we see now price for sep 5800 call is around 112 nd aug 5600 put is around 87, so what action is suggested now |

tanhadil, u can try with available rates involving in trade u wil learn more. there is no rule book. when u r selling at lower level down side protection will hurt. if u r getting the options as per my quoted level nothing like that that will be very balancing position for the both directions. |

Parry,
Have you tried keeping the positions till the end of the expiry?
That is enter the trade as you have said say on 1st of current month and clear the positions at the expiry of the current month.
Regards,
Sriki |

Mr. Parray, as i want to follow your trading strategy, infact started already and posted the result in this thread also. we , as traders will be benefitted if from monday you start giving us some real time example of your strategy for a span of maybe next 2 weeks.by that time we ,who follow your strategy will be familier with this strategy.
give it a thought.

Dear Mr. Parray, one small doubt about your strategy, if after maybe 2 days of taking position we find that our 3 trades together are not in a profitable position, what to be done then? should we close our position after the index move of 100 points from our entry, or should we wait longer.
i understand that there is no need of stoploss as the positions themselves are protecting each other , but still can you give us some idea about the probability or amount of the maximum loss in a trade.
waiting for your fast reply sir, as i am getting prepared for my 2nd entry tomorrow.
thanks and regards.

ANS if you r in profit of 10 to 20 points or break even after fall of -100 to 150 points better to close all the positions do not look at number of days. if mkt is bullish u can hold the positions for one r two weeks u can reap the profit of +60 to 80 points in one go but now we are in uncertainty so book the profits as u go +20 will be great.
cheers. |
