So,You are expecting decoupling (that too defiant) of US Indian markets.US markets 15% down Indian markets 15% up.Quite interesting prediction. It can happen provided INR bottomed out but 60 targets are expected, if that is going to happen chances for decoupling is less, rather Indian markets may follow US markets obediently.

Smile don't you think buying at higher INR is the only way they can make money? Otherwise they haven't made any money in last 5 years.

Follow up on +ww in Nifty.Long position taken along with the bullish candle formation stopped out.Re entry can be considered once Nifty enters in to the channel again with the SL positioned at Low of Point 5. Smile

Have alook at the latest chart.

rk_a2003,

I have one doubt. Isn't a Wolfe wave formation a reversal pattern? If so, Nifty has run up from 5500 levels to 6200 levels and has corrected by 300 points. In order for a bullish Wolfe wave to be valid, don't you think there has to be a preceding down trend of considerable length? Or can we apply it wherever we see an 'M' or a 'W' irrespective of its placement in the long-term chart?

The perceptions could vary from person to person. You said “Nifty has run up from 5500 levels to 6200 levels and has corrected by 300 points. In order for a bullish Wolfe wave to be valid, don't you think there has to be a preceding down trend of considerable length?”

Yes ww is a contra trade (reversal pattern) I see it like this…. Nifty has run up from 5500 to 6200…. A bull run… while going down if it forms a ww ,I see a bright chance of its success from trading perspective. Success means not necessarily meeting the target; even if it travels up to UTL that’s enough for us we may secure profit with Trailing Stop loss.

“Can we apply it wherever we see an 'M' or a 'W' irrespective of its placement in the long-term chart?”. Even choosing a ww for trading can be subjective. Sometimes I ignore some ww’s sometimes I chose to trade .No trading decision can be without subjective factors influencing it even though we thrive to completely minus it. When market is falling at a rate of 2% every day would any one dare to take up a +ww trade? Including hardcore ww traders?. I don’t think so…

Entry of ww trade is tricky. I prefer to enter with high risk reward that’s why I take entry with the first instance of reversal bullish signal i.e Change of guard. I may have to eat multiple stop losses sometimes but when I book the profit it compensate much more. You may observe that every ww trader have their own way of entry method…..I have my own preferred way in the form of Fusion set up.

While entering a ww trade have a look at Higher time frames if they are complementing each other. That’s good in case they are not then think twice and consider other factors before entering. ww in LTF may have an immediate edge.
