Why Dera Sacha Sauda draws followers

Sanjeev Nayar is an independent columnist, founder, www.esamskriti.com and author of How the British sowed the seeds for the Khalistani Movement before the Indians took over.

AFTER reading the above EXCELLENT ARTICLE by Sanjeev Nayyar, the following may be read as my supplemental points:
The media and its readers have shown ignorance by limiting the issue to the latest scandal. Rape/violence are indeed reprehensible. But there are many other issues also going on which a serious person must try to understand.
Deras in Punjab-Haryana are predominantly lower caste/Dalit organizations. Their power comes from the fact that orthodox sikhs and jats monopolized power and disenfranchised the lower castes.
Christians have benefited a great deal from this collapse of a unified Punjabi grand narrative that had held society together prior to British social engineering. Punjab has the highest rate of Christian conversions going on.
The other huge crisis facing society has been the drug culture in villages.
The deras served as refuge from both these problems - drugs and Christian conversion.
The orthodox sikhs hate the deras as competitors for social-political power. They want them dismantled.
So the deras became groups fighting on multiple fronts, on behalf of poor villagers: They fought against the elitism of orthodox sikhs (khatris and jats); the Christian evangelists; drug lords.
The inevitable collapse of Dera Sacha Sauda will be welcomed by Christian missionaries as well as the Akali Dal.
So there is a lot more going on here which 99% of our people don't know and don't want to bother with.
But for decades after the one irresponsible leader is disposed of, the echoes of this collapse of deras will play out in Punjab-Haryana politics.
The broader implications need to be considered. This has created an opportunity for lots of folks meddling, including: AAP, Naxalites, Khalistanis, missionaries, drug lords, to name a few.

Vivek Agnihotri & Rajiv Malhotra discuss the Islamic-Maoist nexus of Breaking India forces

A must watch video by today's every Bharatiya. I guarantee you will learn lot many new things. Very informative. Click On following link below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sv6tQF8-ffo

This is a sequel to Rajiv Malhotra's previous episode featuring the filmmaker-activist Vivek Agnihotri. Vivek is documenting specific examples of the forces explained in Rajiv Malhotra's book, "Breaking India". The Maoists and Kashmir Islamic militants are converging into a unified nexus, just as anticipated in "Breaking India". Urban Naxalites like Kavita Krishnan are merging such anti-India ideologies. They deploy Western Feminism as the theoretical framework to depict women as "victims" in every issue, by manipulating the context to fit their agenda. Their strategy is to construct an Islamic-Maoist corridor all the way from Kashmir through Central India to Bangladesh and the northeast of India. Hindu patriots are often fooled by sama-dana (Good Cop) which is a mask for bheda-danda (Bad Cop) agendas. The new government has not dismantled the institutional machinery that was set up to fund and support the Breaking India forces, and at times inadvertently supports such forces.

Rajiv Malhotra's Lecture at British Parliament on ‘Soft Power Reparations’

To watch please click on following link, & do not forget to subscribe Rajiv Malhotra's Youtube Channel. you do great service to the cause of Bharat Varsh

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDvNGAQhSYs

Rajiv Malhotra:

This is the complete video of my Special Lecture/Q&A at the British House of Parliament.

· The core message was the important of reviving and rebuilding India’s Grand Narrative, and why Britain must remedy the distortions in its depictions of India and its history.

· After the event, some British MPs have endorsed my message and concrete recommendations. A proposal is being formulated to implement my idea of Soft Power Reparations.

· The first two conferences being discussed under this initiative are:

1. Marking the 100th Anniversary of Jallianwala Bagh Massacre on 13 April 2019.

2. Refuting the Aryan/Dravidian Theory developed by the East India Company.

· We are also proposing the establishment of Infinity Foundation in UK.

The Trustees of the Hindu Forum of Britain and the volunteer team of the British Board of Hindu Scholars worked together to arrange this ground breaking opportunity for me to launch the concept of "Soft Power Reparations" in the House of Commons. We are all deeply appreciative of their courage and vision in making it possible. The uncompromising but immensely positive event was hosted by Hon Bob Blackman, who is a loyal friend to India and British Hindus, as the Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for British Hindus.

National interests must be studied by every individual of the country. The history and the hardships that the great men of the past created and suffered reapectively will motivate you in an optimistic way. So, you need to have a look at your own history.

3) How did this Indian Grand Narrative get disrupted: by Islamic, European and post-Independence Indian forces?
4) What attempts were made by nationalists in the past 200 years to restore or reconstruct our Grand Narrative.
5) What is the way forward to create a narrative of who we are collectively?

I have a huge interest in the history of the nations. Subcontinent has quite a deliberate and debateable history. The rise of the Muslim empire and then their downfall is a prospect to learn a lesson. Is not it an amazing thing to know about?
